1. ABOUT THE INSPIRATIONS PAINT, PAINT EDGE® LOYALTY PROGRAM
1.1 The Inspirations Paint, Paint Edge® Loyalty Program is operated by Inspirations Paint Store Pty Ltd Ltd (ABN 51 624 420 079) of 2A/274 Macquarie Road, Warners Bay NSW Australia 2282. Paint Edge® is exclusively for business customers who purchase paint for commercial purposes. Paint Edge® is not for customers purchasing paint for DIY projects.
1.2 Paint Edge® is free to join.
1.3 Paint Edge® membership is subject to eligibility criteria of:
- A valid and independently verified ABN/ACN;
- A valid and verified email address;
- Providing the minimum relevant information; and
- Accepting the Paint Edge® Loyalty Program terms and conditions and communication processes.
1.4 Paint Edge® members are entitled to the following benefits when purchasing paint and accessories in-store or online.
1.4.1 Paint Edge® Pricing
Paint Edge® members receive set trade prices on majority of paint and accessory purchases excluding freight and delivery.
Purchases must be processed under a Paint Edge® membership to qualify for Paint Edge® pricing. Paint Edge® pricing cannot be combined with pricing or offers available outside of the Paint Edge® program.
1.4.2 Colour Recording
When a Paint Edge® member purchases a tintable product they can have the colour recorded against the Paint Edge® membership and purchase details. If you have any questions regarding this service, please call 1300 368 325 (press 3).
1.4.3 Promotional benefit - Paint Edge® members will be eligible for promotional benefits, rewards, or special offers subject to individual promotional terms and conditions as specified by Inspirations Paint. Refer 3.1 for further details.
1.5 Paint Edge customers can receive same day delivery if they order before 10am. This is subject to best endeavours but may not be possible in some instances due to third parties (e.g. couriers) failing to live up to the Paint Edge delivery promise. Deliveries may also be subject to charges and conditions.
2. APPLICATIONS AND MEMBERSHIP
2.1 Applications to join the Paint Edge® Loyalty Program can only be made online via https://www.inspirationspaint.com.au/ By making an application, the applicant (you) agrees to be bound by these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions.
2.2 Applications may be made by a natural person, Corporations, partnerships, and other entities but must be done so on behalf of a business with a valid and verifiable ABN/ACN.
2.3 Businesses may sign up multiple Paint Edge® Memberships under a specific ABN/ACN.
2.4 The How to Join process requires completion of the online application form, providing a valid ABN/ACN and email address, mobile number, and business name. Membership will be activated upon verification of the email address and independent verification of the ABN/ACN by ASIC.
2.5 Your Paint Edge® Membership Account is valid until you or we terminate the program or these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions.
2.6 You will not be issued a Membership card. When you attempt to use your Paint Edge® membership against a sale at any Inspirations Paint store or online, you will be identified by your email address, password, mobile number, or business name.
2.7 On sign up you will be notified via email by us if your application has been accepted. Following sign up, you will be able to participate in the Program as a Paint Edge® member. Your use of your Paint Edge® membership account will at all times be subject to these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions, as varied from time to time by Inspirations Paint.
2.8 Paint Edge® Loyalty Program Members must immediately notify Inspirations Paint if their business ABN/ACN changes or business ceases trading.
2.9 Employees of Inspirations Paint and its related entities are not eligible to apply – refer Section 9. Definitions.
2.10 Inspirations Paint reserves the right to accept or reject any application or cancel any membership for fundamental breach at any time. Fundamental breach may include fraudulent activity, non-payment of goods, ceasing to be a business under a valid ABN/ACN. Cancellation of a Paint Edge® Membership Account includes termination of the Membership Account and forfeiture of all benefits associated with the Paint Edge® Membership account. Fundamental Breach & Termination may also include fraud, deception, dishonesty or misleading conduct, threatening or violent behaviour towards any Inspirations Paint Holdings Employees, Franchisees or Store Employees or malicious damage to Inspirations Paint property.
2.11 You can check your Paint Edge® membership and other details by logging into your account at www.inspirationspaint.com.au. You will be required to provide your email address and password to access your account online.
2.12 You can check your Recorded Tinted Paint Colours purchased online by logging into your Paint Edge® membership or visiting your nearest Inspirations Paint store or by calling Customer Service on 1300 368 325. Tinted Paint colours purchased in-store can also be recorded and checked at your nearest Inspirations Paint store.
3. PROMOTIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS
3.1 We may from time to time offer promotions, rewards, additional discounts, or special offers to Paint Edge® Members. Any promotions will be at the discretion of and on terms notified by us on the Inspirations Paint Website..
3.2 When a member joins Paint Edge® they are defaulted to receive all types of communications from Inspirations Paint. This means they will receive a range of communications including:
- Membership Notifications
- Project and Product Notifications
- Surveys & Feedback
- News and Articles
- Promotional Rewards and Offers
- New or Exclusive Services
- General Inspirations Paint Information
3.3 If Paint Edge® members do not wish to receive any of the above types of communications, they can manage their communication preferences and choose to unsubscribe from all or any of these communication channels at any time by clicking the ‘manage your preferences’ link in any email communication or by replying to any SMS they receive with the word ‘STOP’ or by contacting Inspirations Paint on 1300 368 325 or paintedge@insp.com.au.
3.4 If a member wishes to unsubscribe from all Paint Edge® Communications, they will still receive the benefits of Paint Edge® (including pricing and access to Inspirations Paint's colour recording service). However, by unsubscribing Paint Edge® members will not qualify for promotional offers. Paint Edge® Loyalty Program members have the option to re-subscribe at any time by visiting https://www.inspirationspaint.com.au/resubscribe
4. PRIVACY AND MANAGEMENT OF YOUR INFORMATION
4.1 Inspirations Paint collects your personal information to allow us to enact and maintain your Paint Edge® membership and supply you with goods or services.
4.2 Inspirations Paint collects and analyses your personal information and purchase history under your Paint Edge® membership to manage and improve the Paint Edge® Loyalty Program and send promotional benefits, rewards, additional discounts and special offers that are relevant to you.
4.3 Inspirations Paint complies with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. Inspirations Paint collects, uses and discloses personal information as set out in its Privacy Policy which can be viewed at https://www.inspirationspaint.com.au/privacy-policy
4.4 From time to time, we may make changes to this Privacy Policy for various reasons including:
- Changes to the law;
- Changes to technology; or
- Changes to our business practices, procedures and/or systems.
We will notify such changes by including the updated policy on our website. Where the changes may affect you in a particular way, and you have a contract with us, we will notify you if required by the terms and conditions of the Paint Edge® Loyalty Program, Australian Privacy Law or our Privacy Policy.
4.5 By joining Paint Edge® Loyalty Program or by placing an order via your Paint Edge® membership, you consent to Inspirations Paint collecting your personal information (including your email, name, contact details and delivery address) and providing it to third parties for the purpose of administering your Paint Edge® membership and fulfilling and delivering your orders.
4.6 If you choose to join the Paint Edge® Loyalty Program, we may collect the following kinds of personal and business information in addition to the information detailed above in 1.3:
- Name
- Business Name and contact details
- Delivery address
- Inspiration Paint purchasing details
4.7 If you are a Paint Edge® Loyalty Program member whom we collect, hold, use and/or disclose personal information we shall do so only for the following purposes:
- Any purpose permitted by Australian Privacy Law or any other law;
- The administration of any contract of supply of purchases or services to or by us;
- The provision of products and services to our members;
- To contact you to ask about your experiences with or impressions of Paint Edge® Loyalty Program;
- To contact you regarding promotional benefits, vouchers, rewards, or special offers;
- To provide services such as training to our employees, contractors and providers of purchases or services;
- Otherwise for the administration and management of our business;
- To improve website useability;
- Any purpose required by law to identify you as required by the Anti- Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act;
- To investigate or assist with any investigation into any complaint about the conduct of our business, in particular, under Australian Privacy Law or any other law;
- To otherwise enforce any term of any contract or other right which arises out of or in relation to our dealings with you;
- To communicate with you or to disclose your personal information to third parties so they we may communicate with you, by way of direct marketing, information about the loyalty program, our products, and services;
- To otherwise communicate with you for the purposes outlined above.
4.8 Inspirations Paint shares personal and purchasing information of its Paint Edge® Loyalty Program members with its Franchisees, store employees, customer relationship management software providers under license, and advertisers collectively referred to as “third parties” for the purposes of development, distribution and analysis of member purchases and communications.
4.9 This information will be collected, held, used by us, or disclosed to a domestic third party or some other organisation providing the loyalty program for the following purposes only:
- Providing the services offered as part of the Paint Edge® Loyalty Program;
- To contact you regarding promotional benefits, rewards, vouchers, or special offers;
- Informing you about other purchases and services offered by us or by the relevant manufacturer, distributor, or other organisation;
- Providing information to third party contractors who supply services to the loyalty program or directly to you as part of that program;
- To obtain feedback on the loyalty program; and
- Otherwise monitor, manage, and administer the loyalty program.
4.10 Your personal information may also be transmitted to domestic recipients as part of our ordinary business, normal use of our information technology systems or administration of our Paint Edge® Loyalty Program. When we supply your personal information to any domestic recipients, we shall do so only for the purposes listed above and we shall:
- Do so in accordance with Australian Privacy Law;
- Obtain assurances from those recipients that they have systems which comply with Australian Privacy Law and/or maintain the privacy or confidentiality of your personal information at a standard equal to or higher than that required by Australian Privacy Law, if required by law to do so;
- Make reasonable endeavours and take reasonable steps to secure your personal information which may include steps such as:
- maintenance of a secure environment for storage of information whether in hard copy or in electronic form;
- requiring that access to such information be confined to authorised personnel only;
- using technology such as encryption and/or password protection to secure information kept in electronic form, where practicable and appropriate.
4.11 Inspirations Paint requires and/or expects third party entities which collect your personal and other information from us through disclosure to use reasonably available technology to secure that information.
4.12 We are not responsible for the security of any computer, mobile phone, tablet computer or other device which you use to access our website or to communicate with us and through which we provide communications, to which you have consented, to you.
4.13 If you believe any personal information which we hold about you is incorrect, please contact us by email on members@insp.com.au or by calling 1300 368 325 and tell us what information we hold about you is, in your belief, incorrect and how you want it changed. We will deal with your request according to Australian Privacy Law and provide you our response and/or reasons within seven (7) business days of our making our decision and, in any case, no later than thirty (30) days after receiving your request. If you are not satisfied with our response to any request you make in relation to your personal information or otherwise have any complaint about how we collect, hold, use or disclose your personal information, please contact Inspirations Paint on 1300 368 325 or via email on members@insp.com.au and we will then follow our Dispute Resolution Process.
5. VARIATIONS TO, TERMINATION OF CONTRACT AND WITHDRAWAL BY US OF THE PROGRAM
5.1 We may at any time without prior notification vary these Loyalty Program Terms or the Program (Variations).
5.2 The terms of any Variations will be published on the Inspirations Paint Website and in selected marketing materials.
5.3. Inspirations Paint will make best endeavours to notify impacted Paint Edge® Loyalty Program members of variations.
5.4 Variations will take effect from the date that they are published on the Inspirations Paint Website (Variation Date).
5.5 If you do not agree to a Variation, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of the Variation Date. However, by purchasing a product and acknowledging use of your Paint Edge® Membership Account on or after the Variation Date, you will be taken to have agreed to any such Variation, unless you have notified us that you do not agree to the Variation in accordance with this paragraph.
5.6 We reserve the right to withdraw or terminate the Program at any time.
5.7 We may at any time terminate this agreement or terminate or suspend the operation of your Paint Edge® Membership Account without notice to you if:
- You are in breach of any of these Loyalty Program Terms; or
- You engage in any dishonest, illegal, or fraudulent conduct.
6. LIABILITY
6.1 To the extent permitted by law:
6.1.1 We exclude all liability to you arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Paint Edge® Loyalty Program or your use of your Paint Edge® Membership Account;
6.1.2 Any implied warranties, including any warranties implied under statute, are excluded;
6.1.3 We exclude all liability to you for any consequential or indirect loss or damage, or for any loss of income, revenue, or goodwill, however it arises.
6.2 We do not warrant or represent that at any particular time a particular Inspirations Paint Store will be a participating store. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability to you if an Inspirations Paint store does not accept your Paint Edge® Membership for use.
7. ASSISTANCE AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCESS
7.1 Visit your local Inspirations Paint store or call Customer Service on 1300 368 325 or email paintedge@insp.com.au if you have any reason to believe that an error has occurred in relation to your Paint Edge® Membership Account.
7.2 If you have a question or complaint about this policy, our collection of your personal information or the way in which Inspirations Paint deals with your personal information, this should be directed to us using the contact details set out under the heading “How to contact Inspirations Paint Paint Edge® Loyalty Program” below.
7.3 We will promptly investigate any complaint you make to us and attempt to resolve that complaint. If you are not satisfied with Inspirations Paint proposed resolution of your complaint, or if we do not respond to you within 30 days of the date you make the complaint, then you may, if you are in Australia, contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner:

9. DEFINITIONS
Member is an individual company or business (not a personal customer) that may become a member of the Paint Edge® Loyalty Program by completing the online application form and being issued with a membership.
Accessories - Includes: wallpaper (murals, decals, papers, etc) preparation (gaps, abrasives, fillers, caulking guns, etc), application (brushes, rollers, trays etc), clean up (drop sheets, hand cleaner, rolla cleana, graffiti remover, excluding solvents) safety (masks, respirators, gloves, etc), clothing (caps, t-shirts, shorts, etc), specialty (grout pens, can openers, etc).
Paint - Anything that has been or can be tinted including; sample pots, primers & undercoats, ceiling paint, wall paint, trim paint, exterior paint, texture paint, marine paint, automotive paint, aerosol cans, specialty paints, metal protection, woodcare oils and stains, sealers, paving paint and basically anything that comes in a can and can be applied to surfaces.
Solvents - Includes acid, acetone, brush & roller restorer, degreaser, kerosene, methylated spirits, mineral turpentine, paint stripper, shellite, toluene, wax and grease remover, white spirits, and xylene etc.
Entities of Inspirations Paint includes Holdings Employees, Franchisees, Store Employees, Dulux Employees and Suppliers.
